Property Officer – Disposal & Acquisition
 
Interesting role assisting a high profile government department in the disposal of land and property assets.

Looking to align to longer term strategic plans relating to the property portfolio, this role is key to achieving measurable outcomes through successful transactions.
 
We are seeking a property professional who has experience in local or state government managing acquisitions and disposal. 
 
You will understand the importance of comprehensively managing consultation, be able to interact confidently with key stakeholders, have well developed writing skills and be able to prepare reports and advice. An understanding of relevant legislation and prior experience managing acquisition or disposal processes is essential.

To be considered you will need at least 4 years experience in a commercial property management and experience working on strategic assets.  You will need to be flexible in your approach and confident enough to learn swiftly. Experience in interpreting leases, land disposal,  strong writing skills to prepare reports, a knowledge of the Retail & Commercial Leases Act and the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders is a must.

What's on offer?

• The opportunity to work in a collaborative and professional government environment.
• This is a contract opportunity for 6-12 months + with a weekly pay and great hourly rate.
• Monday to Friday (approx 37.5 hours / week), no weekend or out of hours work.
