Property Coordinator
An exciting opportunity to apply your commercial property knowledge and experience to transfer into a role within state government. This is a 3 month + temp contract with longer term prospects in a corporate and supportive work environment.

This role will look after corporate accommodation and will include monitoring and coordination of maintenance, management of minor fit out and minor
works projects, internal relocation of staff between corporate offices and establishment and monitoring of tenancy agreements to ensure compliance in both occupation and financial obligations.
Working in a busy property department with the support of an experienced team, key duties will include:
- managing a portfolio of diverse assets
- negotiating, interpreting and managing new leases, licences, joint use agreements and renewals
- general project work
- preparation of written reports and recommendations
Skills and Experience
You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of general commercial property management and an understanding of commercial leases.
To be successful for this role you will need:
- High level administration and IT skills
- Property knowl or qualifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and skilled at building external and internal working relationships
- High level ability to investigate, analyse and evaluate problems
- Able to effectively provide advice to executives and senior officers
- To be available for immediate start (or with a week or two's notice)
- Experience in state or local government is an advantage
- A current Working with Children Check, National Police clearance or ability to gain one
